In this workshop, you’ll learn how to start the submission wrestling action in a safer way, tussle with your partner plus some fun and steamy ways to show off on the mats (or in the bedroom).

ATTIRE:

If you’re getting on the mats with us, please wear something you’re comfortable moving in. Yoga pants, gym shorts, sports bras, bikinis, bodysuits and other sporty gear are perfect. Please leave jewelry at home and avoid anything sharp that could scratch you, your partner or puncture the mats. Fetish wear welcome as long as it isn’t anything that will snag, scratch or poke.

Please, no:

• jewelry, watches or anything pokey that can puncture the mats, scratch your wrestling partner or snag and injure you.
• shoes on the mats unless they are specifically wrestling boots or a non-street shoe like ballet slippers. You can have bare feet or wear socks, pantyhose or other foot coverings.
• baggy clothes you and your opponent will get tangled in.

HEALTH AND HYGIENE

If you are a human who shaves, I recommend shaving the night before so you don’t have any broken skin touching the communal mats. Make sure your toenails are trimmed, you are clean and smell fresh (this includes your breath). Please check yourself for any signs of illness, skin rashes or lesions. Cover any wounds.

PLEASE NOTE:

This is an educational workshop. This is not a play party, but participation is highly encouraged! Come with a friend or come solo. While a wrestling partner isn’t guaranteed, you will have an opportunity to try the moves.

We will be practicing RACK: Risk Aware Consensual Kink. BDSM can affect us in mental, emotional and physical ways. Please check-in with yourself. As with any physical activity, there is risk of injury.

Who is this workshop for (and who is it not for)?

Definition (LGBTQIA+ Wiki): Sapphic refers to a woman or woman-aligned person who is attracted to women or woman-aligned genders. This umbrella term includes lesbians, bisexuals, pansexuals and queer individuals. Non-binary individuals who are woman-aligned are warmly welcomed. We also welcome all types of people who identify as gender non-binary or who identify anywhere on the transgender spectrum.

This workshop centers the sapphic experience. If you do not identify as sapphic, gender non-binary or trans, I love you but please attend my other events instead. This is NOT an event for those who are assigned male at birth and identify as a cis-man – please read this carefully because I will not refund your ticket.
